Luxury!
We were so poor we didn't have a garden (or a hedge) so I sharpened 
used matches.
The volume output was low, but at least late-night jazz didn't annoy me 
old dad, who had to get up at 5.00 am to go to the brickyard.
Ah, memories.
And listening to The Goon Show, at night in my room, on my crystal set!
