<<Jazz band leaders who want to play weddings and dances might want to
consider getting my "Gig Book" (C & Bb versions).
This is a combo fake book that has "all" the post-OKOM pre-rock tunes and
dances you might be asked for by guests. Sinatra, cha chas, waltzes,
Italian, Jewish/Israeli, etc. etc. It has virtually all the tunes
requested with some regularity by my dance band clients/guests over 27
years.
Ask me for a contents list. While we're at it, I'll send you a contents
list of my "30s-40s Fake Book".>>
I use Sheik's books, both of these, extensively with my small bands. The
musicians love them, and the tunes get played accurately with no confusion.
I highly recommend both of the above books.
