Subject: [Dixielandjazz] peoria

OK...I probably will get chided and ridiculed for this...

But...

(And, while I know this has been done before on DJML, the lack of search in
the archives makes it easier to ask)

Peoria lyrics.

I know the basic "SOS..." and "Dan the married man" and most of "Dr Black,
Dr White, Drs Smith and Jones" (can anyone please finish after "nurses here,
nurses there....????)

But I also know there are literally HUNDREDS of verses that have been made
up, often spontaneously, for the tune. I just want to "hear" more of them.

If you want to send me your "Peoria" verses off-line, I can compile them and
put them in an appropriate place...er, make them available on a website.

And, while I'm pushing the limits of taste anyway, how about extra verses
for "St James Infirmary". I normally do 8 or so, and I know there are many
more of those also.

thanks...I think

steve
