Hi listmates,

I am usually a lurker, but a friend asked me to help find a song that they
heard on radio a while back. Her husband would like it to be sung at his
funeral. OKOM only in that Dixie bands sometimes play spirituals. Perhaps
some of you might have a copy, or at least know more info about it. Thanks
in advance!

Here's her info:

The main line of the song that I'm looking for sheet music for is "When I'm
on my journey don't you weep after me." I'd also like a CD with a recording
of it, if that exists as well.

Below is the info I know about it:

It is a Weavers song . They call it "On My Journey." The "Reprints" book
says the song is a spiritual from the Bahamas, recorded on Pete Seeger at
the Village Gate, Folkways FA 2450. "On My Journey," p. 172. "Weavers Song
Book," Arr. Robert de Cormier; 177pp., arrangements for piano and guitar.
Harper & Row, 1960. Labeled Traditional.
