A sad message: The British pianist Jon Marks died in Berlin on July 23rd.  Jon played with Keith Smith, Kid Thomas, Louis Nelson, Sammy Rimington and many others. He was one of the many European pianists influenced by Alton Purnell. Another one, Andy Finch, passed away  last year. Jon lived in Berlin since the late 70s.
