Somebody speaking for "we" posted the following:

If that was an accurate quote, not out of context, then:

I reply speaking for myself . . . Bullshit!!! Those who work in my bands are
PROFESSIONALS and quite well paid. That's why they line up to play in my
bands and send subs on other gigs in order to do so. In the world of the
music business it is all about the money whether "we" like it or not.

One has to meet the basic needs for food and shelter before one can afford
to become an artist. And money is what makes that possible.

Those who destroy the market by playing free when they should be paid are
simply . . . stupid. (The key phrase is "when they should be paid")
