³Your² language?  Sorry, Pat Ladd, but when last I looked the US of A
outnumbered the population of the UK by a tremendous margin. That would mean
you and your outnumbered compatriots in fact are speaking a dialect of
English, as propagated by nearly 302 million Americans, not all of whom were
educated on the playing fields of Eton and ŒOxbridge¹.  But if you come over
here and get lucky, you, too, can find a gig where the beer and the food are
³comped² (provided on a complimentary basis).
