Hello all,

Listmate Art Terry writes (regarding band apparel):

>I, personally, would never perform on stage without a tie. I consider it
>disrespectful, to the audience, to our sponsors, and to my fellow band
>members. I don't know where the youth of our world is headed nowdays.

Actually there is more to be said about this. Art Terry is a member of my
band (The Boondockers) and normally we dress in tan pants and some sort of
ugly tropical shirt (no two are ever the same).

We do have a band t-shirt which we occasionally wear. It has the band logo
printed on it. But, as I say, we normally don't wear that shirt (makes us
look too neat).

To actually see the band in action at the Logan, Ohio annual washboard
festival I am providing a link for you to click on and a full color picture
of the band should appear on your monitor.

>From left to right the musicians are: Dan Levinson (clarinet), Gary Church
(cornet), Ralph Thompson (banjo), Jim Maihack (t-bone), Bob Ringwald
(piano), yours truly (washboard) and ART TERRY (washtub bass).

Notice the "respectful" necktie worn by Mr. Terry . . . his mother made it
for him and he always wears it (actually he has several like this with
different patterns).

Is that a lovely tie or what!

Respectfully submitted,
