Dear Steve and interested friends,
I meant to wade in on this one a bit earlier, but got waylaid.
In addition to the fine Nelson Riddle arrangements you mentioned, also 
add Bobby Sherwood's Orchestra to the credits for the music played 
behind Sinatra in the film. The guitarist was Al Viola.
The Sherwood 'original soundtrack' Pal Joey album didn't use the music 
from the sound track at all and studio musicians were used for this 
later Jubilee JLP 1061 album.
