[Dixielandjazz] Pal Joey (Nelson Riddle)

As a teen, I was more exposed to and influenced by Nat King Cole, arr by
Nelson Riddle, than Sinatra. But later when I heard the work Riddle did with
Sinatra in the Œ50s, rejuvenating Francis¹ career after the Axel Stordahl
years, I was even more amazed.  I¹m sure it¹s not OKOM, but Riddle¹s charts
‹ whether for Cole, Sinatra, Ella, or Linda Ronstadt et al. -- have
unmistakeable swing and beauty.  I need to rent a copy of Pal Joey to see
what I¹ve missed.
