[Dixielandjazz] Eldorado Syncopators

Tomorrow, April 8, the Eldorado Syncopators will play from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Napa Valley Dixieland Jazz Society.  This band has been playing quality out-of-date music to interested listeners for over 25 years.  They play late ragtime, early jazz, popular music from the teens and twenties, skiffle and contemporary retro.

To quote the club newsletter:  "They have played for an amazing variety of events including church services.  They were the official band for Elisha Shapiro's National Nihilist party during the 1980 presidential campaign, and they were once disallowed from participating in Earth Day festivities, it being thought that an accordion and a muted cornet would be too loud."

The first DJMLer to mention DJML at the reception desk will be admitted free as my guest.

The NVDJS meets at The LODGE, 2840 Soscol Ave., Napa CA.  Food and drink are available.
