[Dixielandjazz] Satchmo The Great Film

I recently emailed the Louis Armstrong estate to find when, if ever, the 
  Satchmo The Great film would ever be released. Apparently, there are 
still some legal issues regarding this matter(between the estate and CBS 
I would imagine). I'm curious as to what would cause a fifty year old 
film from being released especially when it's subject has been dead over 
30 years.
