Greetings from the New Creole Jazz Band from Springfield, Missouri.
(Removal instructions at bottom of message.)
We have some exciting news and YOU are invited to be a part
of it.
CD RELEASE PARTY/CONCERT
Friday, September 22, 2006, 7-9 p.m. at The Belmonte
Park Central East & Jefferson
Right across the street from the Gillioz Theatre
That's right! The New Creole Jazz Band is very proud to announce
the release of its third and latest CD, "The New Creole Jazz
Band, Live On KSMU". In June, 2005 and again in July, 2006,
the band was featured on radio station KSMU's monthly broadcast
of "Studio Live" hosted by Randy Stewart. The engineers at
the station did such a great job recording the broadcasts that
we decided to put tunes from both sessions on one CD and make
it available to YOU!
Please join us Friday, September 22 at The Belmonte, a neat
old building in downtown Springfield that is known for featuring
live, local music every week. The New Creole Jazz Band will
be playing their trademark, high-energy, traditional New Orleans
style jazz from 7 till 9 p.m. Another highlight of the evening
will be the debut of a newly restored piano that was originally
built in the 1890s. Come listen to Harry Beckett put it through
its paces. The Belmonte requests a $5 suggested donation and
provides all the free tea, coffee, and cookies you can consume.
For more information, call Arin Gilbert at 619-2563.
You can also get more details about the party, the CD, and
the band on our website, http://www.creolejazz.com. While you're
there, visit our PHOTO pages. We've just added four new pages
of photos taken at recent performances.
Invite your friends and we'll see you on the 22nd!
Dave
