Hi folks:  here is what College Music is really all about today, so my 
comments about Mighty Aphrodite should be relevant as to their chances 
of being selected to showcase at this conference.

Hell they even have George Clinton on a panel, now he would certainly 
be all in favor of them :))   If he could stay awake long enough for 
them to come on stage, They look really Funky to him, but probably 
smell way too clean.  Let's Face it folks, Brea just does not look 
Funky even on a bad hair day :))

  Three panels unique to the touring industry:

   OZZfest 10th Anniversary Reunion (November 1): The artists and major 
players of Ozzfest reveal secrets of the event, disclose how and why it 
has impacted them and the music industry, share their favorite memories 
and discuss some of their Ozzfest experiences that were not in the 
media. The moderator is Billy Graziadei, former guitarist/vocalist of 
Biohazard/current guitarist of Suicide City. Panelists include:

  Mercedes Lander, drummer of Kittie;Morgan Lander, lead singer of 
Kittie; Dez FaFara, former lead singer of Coal Chamber/current lead 
singer of DevildriverShaun Lopez, lead singer of The Revolution 
Smile;Alan Robert, Life of Agony bassist/Spoiler NYC bassist;Ryan 
Tooker, lead singer of Grade 8; andDustin Tooker, guitarist of Grade 8.

   CBGB: The Ultimate Reunion (November 2):Famous alumni of CBGB gather 
to reminisce about the legendary club how it made a difference in their 
lives and changed the face of music. This reunion will be a fond look 
back at one of the most influential music venues in rock history. This 
panel is moderated by journalist/author Legs McNeil. Panelists include: 
Blondie co-founder/guitarist Chris Stein; original Ramones drummer 
Tommy Ramone; the Smithereens lead singer Pat DiNizio; CBGB 
owner/founder Hilly Kristal; Bad Brains bass player Darryl Jenifer; 
photographer Roberta Bayley, Darryl Jenifer, bassist of Bad Brains; and 
others.

   Lollapalooza 15th Anniversary Reunion (November 3):Lollapalooza 
artists and business players reveal the groundbreaking festival’s 
secrets and discuss how it has affected their lives and the music 
industry. The moderator is Kyle Anderson, assistant editor, Spin.
