[Dixielandjazz] "Radio"

Banu was performing it in the late sixties when I was working with
her and her (now) husband in NY. I don't know if he taught it to her,
or vice versa, but that was the first time I heard it. Many have
performed it with me since then.

"Radio, remember radio?
We'd sit and close our eyes
And use our ima-gin-a-tion
Comedy, tragedy, a fireside chat.
Together we sat
Listening nightly to our favorite shows . . . "

etc.

Cheers,
John
