[Dixielandjazz] Washboard charts?

Bob, of course there are tuning and chord charts for washboards. It's just 
that there is no point in using them because the rest of the band haven't a 
clue what tuning and chord charts are.
A washboard can be tuned in the same way that oil drums are tuned in West 
Indian orchestras. By placing the tuned areas strategically one can play 
chords containing up to four notes. This involves using fingers and thumbs 
independently.
However, what's the use of this when all the bandleader needs is someone who 
can keep the rest of the band in time?
