Oh my, I agree with Mike Vax. This has simply become a political discussion
and that was not the intent of my original post. That intent was that their
new album has been described as having some Dixieland overtones on one song.

Hopefully the political BS will cease. Right, Left? What the hell is the
difference. Just about all the politicians currently in office are corrupt.
And, they all govern from the center too, regardless of label.

Regarding the Dixie Chicks, I suggest instead of knee jerking politics,
those interested in whether or not they are smart, dumb, have big balls, are
successful etc., etc., read the Time Article. It may be found at:

For those wondering about the positioning of their political thought, I
suggest they read what the Chicks said and what President Bush said in 2003.
Then I suggest they read a few polls about mainstream American thought
today for current validation.

As for me, I humbly apologize for starting a thread that got completely
mangled by the politicos on the List, the thought police on the list and
those who, for one reason or another, insist upon reading things that are
not there, into what I write.
