[Dixielandjazz] NYC OKOM FESTIVAL CANCELLED

Sad news.

The New York City Trad Jazz Festival scheduled for later this summer has
been cancelled for lack of interest. Apparently advance ticket sales were
very slow.

Perhaps because: 

1) There is a plethora of trad jazz in NYC already and two of the featured
   bands gig regularly there.

2) An all events badge was over $300.

3) The hotel package was expensive.

4) NYC is an expensive place to spend the weekend

5) The other 3 bands could not draw out of town fans.
