Dear Tom,
Spot on!
There was talk at one stage of amalgamation with them but the Professional
Musicians Union (of which I have 40+ years Honorary Long Service membership)
refused the offer.
Not a wise financial decision, as the MU here is now but a shadow of its
former self and about to go into liquidation.
Unless it amalgamates with the more powerful Media, Entertainment and Arts
Alliance and finishes up like the famed Australian *Ooo-aah bird.
