You might try a "Pop" filter. It is a screen that is attached to the mike. It is commonly used in recording studios.

I wonder if any audiophile list member can help with a technical problem
concerning my internet radio shows?
When recording the announcements every time I use the letter P it "explodes"
which is not good for the audience!
Does anyone have a solution - i.e. is it my pronunciation or the microphone
