The Showboat Casino in Atlantic City did not pick up our option for this
summer and so we are ending our 15 month run there this month. These gigs
were great fun and we have no regrets. Now promoting other gigs to take up
the slack. (The summer schedule there was for about 15 gigs a month)

Could be they got nervous when we asked for a raise. :-) VBG

Could also be that we are too old (:-) VBG) and it is time to get some
younger bands working there. We're being replaced by the Eagles (football)
pep band and by a group from the University of the Arts.
