Wilbur De Paris and his band played "The Pearls" often during their long
tenure at Jimmy Ryan's in the 1950s. You can find a short sound clip at:

there. Here is the record information. Marchin' and Swingin' at Symphony
Hall: It is available on CD and includes Omer Simeon who played clarinet
with JRM way back when. W DeP and his band played a wonderful version of it
and it was much requested at Ryan's by us young College kids back then.
