I highly recommend ANYONE to buy one of these...they are great horns for
DIXIE !

Depends, Roddy, in my opinion.  Our trumpeter brings a cornet in from time
to time.  He is, however, very much a "trumpet man"....big, wide Harry James
type of sound.  On cornet, he sounds fine, but lacks that big sound.  So,
lacking that, he hugs up to the mike, which is just not the same.

Pepe also plays flugel, when the mood strikes him to drag along another
horn.  Lovely sound, but I still wouldn't trade it for listening to his
trumpet sound.

At least for our band, I like the trumpet sound.  I won't mention this puje
thing, as Pepe's nuts enough to try to get hold of one.  (And, guess who
would have to carry it back from the U.S. on my next trip?)
