[Dixielandjazz] Jack Meheu, New Orleans clarinet virtuoso, has a stroke

I just got a call from Mike Maheu a few minutes ago. His father, Jack Maheu
suffered a massive stroke around noon today (Sat). He is at Tulane Med., in
the emergency room. There is no room in ICU due to shortage of hospitals and
rooms. 

The doctors have him stabilized now. The next 24 hours will be crucial.
That's all we know for now.

Please keep "The General" and his family in your prayers...AND please pass
this on to folks and musicians that I did not have in my address book.
