  Hello all,

The Jelly Roll Morton website has been updated with the following items:

Millie Gaddini sends an article titled: "Jelly Roll's Library of Congress
Wax Date World's Longest Session" by George Hoefer, from DOWN BEAT, dated
24th September 1947. Interesting to note that the first LoC records issued
by Circle in 1947 cost $120 --- the equivalent of about $1000 today!

Millie Gaddini sends an article from the Pickup magazine, dated February
1946. The article mentions Art Tatum and Barney Bigard. Jelly Roll's
guest appearance on "The Chamber Music of Lower Basin Street" is also
featured.

All the above items can be accessed from the UPDATED BOX at:

Hope you enjoy.

Musically yours

Mike
