Hello, I am Harry Salotti.  I've played the tuba and string bass in the South 
Jersey/Philly area for about twenty years.  John McClernan pass on the web 
address to me.  Great site and interesting discussions.  
     My sisters father-in law once told me that he helped organize the annual 
Bix festival in Davenport Iowa.  He has recently passed away.  Does anyone 
recognize the name Jerry Verbel.  He was not a musician, only a true jazz lover 
and a great guy. Thanks, Harry
