Does this reflect upon the laziness of Sacramento OKOM Bands or what, 
they are looking for musicians to play jazz in Sacramento, the MECCA of 
OKOM alegedely , so why do they have to go out of town to find Jazz 
musicians ????

Seems to me that with such an active JAZZ SOCIETY SOMEBODY WOULD BE 
LOOKING FOR THESE KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES TO MAKE MORE JAZZ WORK IN THE 
AREA.   Naw probably not we got all the Jazz we need here  what with 
the once a month Sunday gig and the Annual Jubilee, we don't need to 
worry about the local guys getting any more work or the youth bands 
learning how to find work either huh??

And don't send me any hate mail about they only want Soul Jam Band 
music either:

What the hell do you guys think Jazz Is anyway ?? Soul music and 
jamming  Hello Hello is there anybody home, nope guess not, takes a 
transplanted guy form LA to to find out that there is no JAZZ real 
SCENE IN Sacramento.

  I just wanted to know if there were any musicians in San Francisco who 
want to work in Sacramento....I don't have a car so I am stuck here 
 from Los Angeles for three years....but I have been doing some live 
performances all around town in Sacramento for three years and they 
want to pay me to put up a soul/jamband that is a little rock n' 
roll....I keep getting all these punk rock musicians who don't 
understand jazz and I am forced to send them home....I don't think that 
jazz lives in Sacramento, it's more of the bay area and Oakland....but 
we could charge at the door and you can go home with some money....I 
need just only one other guitarist that is much better than me....or 
sit down....and I need a bass player, some bad ass drums....some women 
who can sing....cause these women out here would put dead birds to 
sleep with their kind of throats.....

  The pay would only be about 100 dollars per week, but you have to
