Strangely enough (pun intended) I was in no way having a shot at you, or
Sheik, or Al Levy, or Bob' the Ring', or those other kind DJMLers who
unselfishly share their hours of unpaid musical efforts by promptly sending
off the requested 'crutches'.
In my head (at the time) I was really thinking of the few lazy people who
automatically ask for lead sheets for common tunes, rather than try and sort
it out for themselves first.
I accept your reprimand most humbly, along with the others sent on and off
list, and will once again retreat to my record collection, books, files and
discographies. And the research queries.
Which is where I am really much happier.
As me old Irish Granny used to say: "We were put on earth to help people."
