I have a recording of it by The Sportinghouse Strings and this credits it to Robertson-
Cogane-Mysels.

The Sportinghouse Strings are an excellent group formed here in the UK by former
sidemen of the late Tommy Burton to play items from his repertoire. They are Thomas
"Spats" Langham (banjo, Acoustic Guitar, Vocals), Paul Degville (Electric Guitar) and
Richard Vernon (Double Bass).

As I remember it Spats sings We Three somewhat in the style of The Inkspots.

The tune was used in the 1940s on a UK radio show called Happidrome. It was sung by
three regular characters in the the show and the "My Echo, my shadow and me" of the
lyrics became - "We Three in Happidrome, Working for the BBC, Ramsbottom and
Enoch and Me".
