FW: [Dixielandjazz] Slide/valve

Several folks wrote in to say they have or had a valve section for their
slide trombone.  I still have the one I bought for my Conn Constellation.
As I only played Baritone horn for a couple of years, my finger action never
was great, so the valve section never really got used much.  Strangely
enough, I can play Lullaby of Birdland better on the valve than the slide!

I traded in a lovely Benge Baritone horn for that valve section way back in
my teens.  Should have kept the Benge.  Could have come out & joined the
Cell Block gang for a song!
