Greetings from Topanga, the music enclave of SoCal. We just had our Topanga 
Days annual event featuring many of our local musicians, plus Maria Muldaur and 
a host of others.

About those Dixie Chicks...yes they ARE high on the charts! 
First on the Billboard 200, and at the top on the Country Albums chart.   
There are two reasons for this; one, they do great harmony and two, they ARE more 
intelligent as witnessed by their rejection of the Iraq war policy.   THEY 
'get' it.   Thats why I'm a customer of their latest.   Their opposition to the 
war brought me to their music for the first time. Their album "Home" is loved 
by many.
