Some news about a few gigs in the area:

The Savannah Jazz Band are to appear at The Huntsman (Westerleigh Rd. Downend - a No Smoking venue) on Friday 20 October at 8.15pm. Admission £7 in advance (contact Brian Lloyd on 0117 9676030) or £8 on the door. Refreshments will be available.

Jazz in the Garden - Pig roast & 20s - 40s Jazz from Phoenix. At Wavering Down House, Cross (Frankie Howerd's old place!) Bring your own chairs & a picnic). Tickets £10 - incl pig roast - Send SAE & cheque (payable to Jazz in the garden) to Wavering Down House, Cross, Somerset. BS26 2EL

JimFryer with Jeremy Huggett's Band of Gold. Thursday 7 September at The White Horse, Bedminster, Bristol - 8.30pm. Admission Free but you should support the raffle!
