Having observed John Farrell's previously displayed wit and with respect for
his acumen in language, I would have thought that he might have selected the
two syllable bird, Britain's own, blue tit.

As an example I have chosen Bye Bye Blackbird. Obviously "Blackbird" has to
go but to preserve its context in the song the name of another bird must be
substituted. Two syllables are required, so my suggestion is "Condor".
