aha well though out Bill me mate: however I would still think that
this would require a closer look if one were indeed to rediscover the
family jewels if indeed they were actually proven to have been shoved
into storage :))

I am going to see Bob Romans tomorrow and I have heard that he is an
expert in these matters since he often refers to some of his sidemen as
having or was it playing with No Balls. :))

Snicker snicker snort snort !!

Could it be that in some cases the disappearance of the testicles
was actually caused by pushing them up into the original body cavity
from which they came, giving a very clear impression that the young
male was indeed castrated?. This would still raise the male voice - -I
know it would with me. Much later in life, one of the gems popped out,
allowing fatherhood ( At which moment, they shouted Fi-gar-o!,
equivalent to our "Eureka, they've found it!). Yet another possiibility
is that young girls, with the voices the choir masters desired, were
snuck into the castrati choirs, until they were booted out, or ran away
with one of the fellows whose voices had dropped at the same time as
the body part. In these cases, the offspring could indeed be from
"castrata".
