Just want to get the word out that The Barbone Street Jazz Band will be
performing at Sydney's Blues and Jazz Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach on Pop's
birthday, Friday, August 4 and again Saturday August 5. This will be our 7th
consecutive annual Birthday Bash appearance there in honor of Louis. We
perform from 9:30 PM to 1 AM each evening.

Earlier this year, Ms. Sydney Arzt sold the restaurant to some hip young men
and they are carrying on the tradition of the venue. The food is excellent
and both evenings will be great fun, complete with Mardi Gras spirit, beads,
and some swinging jazz in the tradition of Louis Armstrong.

Sydney's is located at:

236 Rehoboth Avenue. (or 25 Christian Street)
Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
Tel: (302) 227-1339
Fax: (302) 227-5744

About the Louis Armstrong Birthday Bash:

One of the great events of the year for Jazz Lovers. Barbone Street is
always up for this gig. We get energized by the eclectic audience, beautiful
people, mostly under 40, some older, (like the band. :-) VBG)

Some come from 300 miles away every year to be there for the Bash and they
make us feel like Rock stars with their cheers. That is one reason we travel
so far to be there every year.

It is testament to the fact that this music lives in the here and now for
both young and young at heart.

We're hoping that Ms. Sydney, a great lady, will be come on by so that we
can thank her publicly for what she has done for us and the music.

It is one of the ultimate jazz party experiences. At a wonderful restaurant
in a famous beach resort town. Make your reservations now for an evening you
will always remember.

The new owners are experienced restaurateurs who were formerly with the Iron
Hill Brewery chain of restaurants in the Philadelphia area. We had some
great times at those locations also ever since they opened almost a decade
ago and still perform at them.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
