[Dixielandjazz] Julian Davidson

Dear friends,
In 1950-56 guitarist Julian Davidson recorded several times with Kid Ory's
Creole Jazz Band in Los Angeles.
Although, as many of you will know Ory rarely (if ever) used a guitar on
band jobs after Bud Scott died.
A Julian Davidson recorded on banjo (in Chicago 1923-28) with Charlie
Straight, Paul Ash and in New York (1927) with The Emperors.
Does any one know if this is the same man?
Does anyone remember or have any details regarding the guitarist who
recorded with Kid Ory in the 50s?
