Yes I was, since I don't know any of the current OKOM Guitarists in the 
area who might be playing Hot French style swing jazz, threw it out to 
get some attention of the string players in general who might know 
somebody who could and would be interested in the gig.  :))


P.S. I have heard a few clarinet players that sounded like a drummer  
:))  just kidding. :))

You must be joking!! That is like asking if any drummers would like a 
gig
playing Clarinet..

There may be a bjo man who can play like Django but I bet you have to 
go a
long way to find him.

I would be interested to hear if a "banjo guy" can approach Django
credibly.Sure, there are strings to be manipulated but it is a whole
different world.
