All of these groups have regular gigs around the East Bay.
These are just the ones I know of playing currently - there are
probably a few more I missed:
"And That's Jazz" Alameda (I was putting this list in alphabetical,
but I also have to say that I have been with this group since 1983...)
Barrelhouse JB
Blue Bone
Devil Mountain JB (very East East Bay)
East Bay Stompers
Bob Milkie's Bearcats (been around since the late 1950s - not very
active)
Mission Gold JB
Polly's Hot Paupers
Mike Vax Great American JB / Big Band
Zenith JB and Brass Band
and there was the Dick Oxtot band in Richmond...

remember - Lu Watters Yerba Buena Jazz Band did most of their
performances in the East Bay, not San Francisco!
(not that I was around to hear them ;-)
