He better be a quick learner, I drove by there today and there was
aline of guys with trombones three block long waiting to audition :))
Since it was raining cats and dogs I just bought a ticket for the show
and went on in. :))
Wow those girls are really swingers!! the band on the other hand was
having a hard time reading the charts :))
Ah but Burlesque ain't what it usta be except for the Girls that part
never changes much thankfully, but wow what a bunch of amateur
musicians especially for OKOM.
Now I did do a good deed however. I gave them Jelly Roll Ringwald's
number and recommended him for the new musical director position and
piano player, and I could swear the first guy in line for the Bone
position audition was ole Slushpump Williams and he had a pair of
binoculars duct taped to his horn too. You know he has a hard time
with some of those charts because of his long arms and the slide and
all that. Now if they can get Bill Gunter on the bill as the MC
Comedian Washboardist then the joint might have a future for a Great
S.F. OKOM Revival
Cheers, & Loving Leers
Tom Batta Boom and we'll have a real good time Wiggins
P.S. Lotta Luv sends her best regards to all.

Tom, not too surprising... I think he must have found out about the
opening you
mentioned in SF...

Can you believe this a guy actually wants to learn to play a Trombone
:))
Maybe some unemployed one in Portland, Oregon can help him. :))
Looks like a Challenge, a guy who plays a guitar with his ear, what
pray tell is he going to work the Slide with ?
Cheers,
Tom
