[Dixielandjazz] The Meaning of C. C. Rider

I might get thrown off the list after this one.

I have never heard the original, just the rock version Mitch Ryder
and the Detroit Wheels released in the mid 60's.  Are his lyrics the
original ones?

Had a childhood friend named Chuck Crider and from that time on, I
often called him  "C. C. Rider".
