[Dixielandjazz] Fresno Mardi Gras

Hi All,

Reporting from the Fresno (CA) Mardi Gras.  Great time, good bands.  
Mostly left coasters, but a new one for us is the St. Louis Classic 
Stompers, led by Steve Lilley.  Good trad band with lots of energy.  
Something a little different, we had a couple of swing sets, with 
members of various bands sight reading big band stuff.

No formal F 2 F, but several listmates here.  Gene and Betty Lynch, 
Karen from Pacifica, Ben Fowlkes, Rae Ann, and Audrey VanDyke all the 
way from Wash DC.  Some of the musso's also sometime posters, Kit 
Johnson of Black Swan, and Bert Barr on Cornet with Black Swan for this 
weekend.
