Clevedon Jazz Club  - Next Club Night - 9 February 2006 

Geoff Nichols GOOD VIBES BAND

Co-founder and leader of the legendary, but now disbanded, Avon Cities band, Geoff Nichols has been a giant of the Bristol jazz scene for over 50 years. A master of the trumpet, tenor horn and vibes he led The Avon Cities on records that vied for 'chart' positions with the likes of Acker Bilk, Kenny Ball and the other nationally acclaimed bands of the late 1950's.

Now Geoff is leading small groups playing the music made famous by the likes of Benny Goodman in the 1930's and 40's. With Geoff on vibes backed by some of the finest Bristol jazz players, Clevedon Jazz Club's audience at the Club's Walton Park Hotel venue on 9 February are in for a real treat. 

The doors open at 8pm, the music starts at 8.30pm and its £6 'on the door'.
