Couldn't help remembering a summer jazz concert here, featuring a small
(3piece) Dixie band. Halfway through the performance an elderly lady collapsed
(it was a rest home gig) and the ambulance came screaming up, carried her off,
and the music went on. Don't know if she was over stimulated or what!
Heck, I don't know if it killed her--

I used to jam with a group of old timers who had put together a big band,
called ourselves the "Brow of the Hill Band" No one wanted to admit we were
over it!! Anyway, the drummer had a bad heart, was warned by his doctor to quit
playing drums, refused, and sure enough-went on that year to join the great
drum line in the sky-
                                                                Ted (got
to get those diabetic toes out there tappin')
