Hi Jim,
You didn't mention whether your persistence paid off and you were able to
change your bride's view of jazz after she finally heard you. [VBG]
Season's Greetings Everyone,
Ron Wheeler

Subject: [Dixielandjazz] Put off forever!
Before I met my wife, she once stumbled into a jazz joint with a friend. It
turned out to be "free jazz" that nite. She didn't like the squeeks &
squawks, and left.
She didn't want to hear anything about jazz after that, and it took me a
great deal of time to convince her to even come & hear me play when I first
met her!
This particular theme can be applied to another theme presently being heard
in these here parts......
Jim
