[Dixielandjazz] Women in the 50's

do you mean  " . . .in the 50's"  ?   When did it ever change  ? ? ?, 
and I believe that it's still true today, at least as discussed among 
the men that I talk to.  Then again, there's the concept of "all women 
IN their 50's" . . . and their 20's, and their 30's and their 40's,  
etc.
