Wow, I can't believe "Slide Lube Posts" have jumped from Trombone Lists
  to DJML! :lol
   
  Here is a true strory: I once asked the late 
  Carl Fontana what he used on his slide when
  I went to hear Him in Orlando FL. He replied:
  "Whatever works! I'd use owl s..t if it worked!"
   
  Another story I read had Jack Teagarden telling a fan:
  "I use Wildroot Hair Cream. I like the "fuzzy tone it gets me." :lol
   
  BTW: Great to see Mike Pittsley on the list! What a player he is!!!!
