[Dixielandjazz] Runaway trombone slide

At our pizza parlor early in 1972, where the group played six nights a week,
the slide slipped past seventh position out of my fingers, fell from the
3-foot-high stage and clattered about 40 feet down the center aisle. 
 
I'd had too much pepperoni that night, I guess  : - ) 
 
Funny, that horn still works as smoothly today as it did new in
1965--better, actually, with the new slide lubes available now.
