What I'd like to know is this:  about 2/3 of the way through China Boy,
Nichols takes the trumpet away from his mouth and starts directing, yet the
trumpet continues?  Was he really *that* good? :-)

Let's see what happens if I send it the above way.   Otherwise, when emails 
show up on message lists via AOL sender, one has to  delete the parenthesis
(or 
remove the bars) when you copy and paste the  address into your address bar.
