It is clear that Steve and John, perhaps Tom and Pat, aren't the best of 
chums.  Yet, I think all of you have things to offer this list.  
However, I for one, feel this jibing should be done off list.  I see all 
of you turning innocent comments into aggressive statements and replying 
accordingly.

I am taking sides with no one here and if offered the occasion would buy 
each of you a beer.  (however, if we were all together, I'd insist you 
all wear boxing gloves making it quite difficult to drink the 
aforementioned refreshment.)

Quite respectfully, spit at each other off list, please.
