Sharon,
I second the sentiments for Rosie O'Grady's and I was there when the place was just built and the only room was Rosie's itself. My late and good friend Don Gumpert and I, along with the various musicians that came through the band had a blast working there. I would visit from Atlanta and over a 39 year period probably made it 250 times. Don was the last original player to pass away, and I can't tell you how much I miss him.

MEA CULPA
In the news letter (which you should have received by now) I failed to acknowledge and thank GARNIER MINNICK for the pictures of Norm's retirement party. Also thanks to Norm for helping us get them into the newsletter, and for the pictures of last year's picnic. And to Andy Metzger who did ALL the layout.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ROSIE O'GRADY, THE GRAND DAME of downtown entertainment. Rosie will be 39 on Wednesday, August 16. What would we have done without her (and all the people who make it work)!
